You want to take care of coloured workwear while preserving the bright colours and fresh looks. Not all garments are worn equally often, and the intensity of use can vary. But to keep the colours in the same colour scheme we have advice, how to simply and easily maintain as bright and clean as possible!
Start with similarly, avoid bleach and harsh chemicals when washing your coloured garments, as they can cause colour fading and make the clothes look less vibrant. Wash them inside out with other dark garments to preserve the colour, and use laundry detergent specially designed for coloured clothing. Even the most advanced dyeing techniques are prone to colour fading over time, so it's important to take steps to preserve the colour:
- Avoid bleach, bright sunlight, and wearing garments when wet, as these can accelerate colour fading.
- Wash coloured items inside out with other dark garments to preserve the colour and prevent light-coloured garments from becoming discoloured.
- Use laundry detergent specifically for coloured clothing.
Highly contaminated clothing
If you're dealing with highly contaminated white clothing, we recommend using Biotex to soak the garment overnight. After that, simply run a pre-wash and normal washing program on either 40°C or 60°C. For grease stains, use a low temperature program, and for fruit and vegetable stains, opt for a high temperature program. It's essential to avoid chlorinated detergents, as they can shorten the life of your garment.
Remember to always check the care label washing instructions for your specific garment.
